This makes the game a little disappointing due to the game being short. Clustertruck is a little overpriced ranging at USD 14.99 on Steam on PC.Due to epilepsy, some people won't be able to play this game as it'll hurt their eyes otherwise due to how bright the game is to look at.They can also result in an unfair fail or the level glitching out pretty randomly. Unfortunately, there are some bugs and glitches that happen in the game and there is a small chance that they could crash the game (the final campaign level in particular).Despite that this game has no particular story in the campaign, players are able visualize how it'd be possible for the protagonist character to travel between all the 9 different worlds. While other games are also in the same circumstance, Clustertruck stands out for how short its levels are and how speedrunners can exploit them in very bizarre ways.
Due to how short, yet insane this game is, speedrunners are known for competing against each other to see who could complete this game the fastest out of the whole world. It also has additional features that don't appear in the main campaign or the additional worlds so that there are more things that one could use to troll or guide players.

On the PC ports, there is an editor where people can create their very own levels for the community to try out. Also, on the menu screens, the music that was most recently played still plays but at a much more quiet tune to avoid distracting the player. The very final level in the main campaign actually has its very own separate music from the rest of the last world as well. Every single world (including the additional ones on the PC ports) have their own particular music which motivate the player to continue through the game until they finally finish it. Along with the floor hazard, as you progress through the game, new hazards such as lasers, boulders, swinging hammers, flamethrowers and many more appear to give the levels some extra challenge as opposed to just timing patterns and perfect platforming. You can also adjust sensitivity and inverted within the 'Options' menu if you would rather have them inverted. #Clustertruck beta how to#
When using abilities, the game actually tells you how to use them within the level after you equip it.
The gameplay, though basic, is incredibly fun and responsive. This is a good thing since making it possible to have all the abilities at once would make the game way too easy and soak out all the fun of completing the levels. The game only allows you to use up to one 'Movement' and one 'Utility' ability though. You can purchase certain abilities in the 'Abilities' menu that can either make the game more enjoyable or help you through certain levels such as Double Jump, Truck Boost, Time Slow, Epic Mode (point doubler) and more within having a sufficient amount of 'Skill Points' which you earn through completing levels and doing crazy tricks. You can play them before the campaign if you want. You don't even have to finish or even start the main campaign in order to play these worlds.
Also, as of the Halloween and Christmas updates, there were 2 additional worlds added to the game as bonus stages, the Halloween world having 10 levels and the Christmas world having 5 levels. The levels range from being around 15 seconds to 45 seconds, except the last level which is around 3 minutes. There are a total of 9 worlds in the main campaign, each featuring 10 levels, all of which can make blind playthroughs of Clustertruck very exciting since all the worlds are different from each other, adding lots of variety to the game. Usually, the trucks drive consistently to a rate where they either help the player reach the end goal or that the player has to quickly outrun them while avoiding falling off (3:6 and 8:2 for example). This game follows the fun trope of "the floor is lava" very literally since simply touching the floor will make you fail the level and have to restart. Clustertruck is a chaotic first-person parkour game, released on the 27th of September 2016, where the player has to navigate various levels and worlds while trying to avoid touching anything that isn't a truck or a safe platform.
